Week of Sept 2

This week we will cover the metric system: tools, units, and prefixes. You'll have the opportunity to take measurements using specific tools. Expect a test on or around Tuesday, Sept 9. The test will cover scientific method and the metric system. Homework is posted on the calendar (see tab above).

Week of Aug 18

Homework:
Remember, unless otherwise directed, each assignment should be done on a separate page in your notebook.

Wed 8/20 - Question/Hypothesis (look in OneNote notebook!)
(a) Create a list of three questions about the bag of M&Ms. These can be ones called out in class (but not the one we answered in class today) or you can come up with new questions. (b) For each question, write a hypothesis.

Thu 8/21 - Activity analysis questions (look in OneNote notebook!)
Complete activity analysis questions, which are posted in the science OneNote folder. NOTE: You will not be able to complete this assignment ahead of time, as it is based on the class activity done on Thursday.

Fri 8/22 - Study for Monday's quiz (look in OneNote notebook!)
What to study:
- Given a term, be able to give its definition
- Given a definition, be able to state the term
- Given a problem, be able to state a possible hypothesis.
- Given a scenario, be able to identify the parts of the experiment.

I'm glad you're here! This website is definitely UNDER CONSTRUCTION at the moment. My intention is that this will be a place to find information to help you with homework (such as links), to provide support for learning done in the classroom, and to showcase what we do in the classroom.
