In science, we are focusing on the Manhattan Project. We will spend the early part of the week learning about the places involved, important people, and events that occurred as part of the development of the bombs dropped on Hiroshima & Nagasaki.
There will be a project that will be started at the end of the week (in class) based on our learning from earlier in the week. The project will be due next week. More details will be provided for students in class. Other than colored pencils, the required cardstock will be provided for the kids.
Our test will be on Tuesday, January 27.
This covers: photosynthesis & cellular respiration plus WWII.
- Kids should have a fact sheet of some important key words for WWII in their folders. Only information on that sheet and facts learned from the video we watched in class will be fair game for the test.
- While it is not an all inclusive study tool, kids have access to four sets of questions to practice knowledge related to photosynthesis and cellular respiration. (Look at the right side bar.)
- Also, in their folders are notes about cellular respiration and a model of photosynthesis.
- There's also class material in their OneNote folder.
I'm excited to see the kids' bonus projects! For those who are creating 3-D models, I hope your creations help solidify the cycle of photosynthesis & cellular respiration.
